After a long, snowy winter, spring has sprung! Let’s read a book and go on a scavenger to find signs of spring around Prescott Farm.
May 10 - Exploring Shapes
Circles. Triangles. Squares. Did you know shapes are all around us in nature? We’re going to explore the trails to see what shapes we can find.
May 17 - Bugs and Worms and Salamanders, Oh My!
There are lots of creatures who live at Prescott Farm. Let’s explore the small creatures - worms, salamanders, newts, and others. We’ll go on a walk and turn over some rocks to see what critters we can find.
May 24 - A Morning in the Garden
The garden is blooming! We’ll spend our time in the garden - digging, smelling, and using our eyes and ears to explore our beautiful surroundings.
May 31 - Let’s Get “Cooking”
When was the last time you made a mud pie? How about mud soup? Let’s put on our chef hats on and see what we can “cook” up. Be prepared to get your hands messy (Please bring a change of clothes!)
June 7 - Colors in Nature
Let’s explore the beautiful colors of nature around Prescott Farm. We’ll see if we can find the whole rainbow!
Polliwogs will be offered rain or shine! If it is raining, we will have our activities in the barn.
