That’s right, for millennia, mankind relied on acorns as an important source of nutrition and some cultures still value acorns in their diet. This program is a great opportunity to learn more about this often-overlooked food source with hands-on opportunities to participate in each step of the process from collecting to grinding acorns into flour. We will also share recipes that feature acorn flour and share more about the history and science behind the whole process.
